The Conversations
2021
The Conversations is a visual essay focusing on the elements in public spaces which are fixed. During a stroll in the park, I noticed that benches are always facing another subject, let it be a bench facing a football field, a pond, a tree or a playground. By overlaying an excerpt of Samuel Beckett’s, Waiting for Godot play on the benches facing their subjects, I set up a conversation between these elements, baring endless time together.
